Hello

It's a few daze out from seeing the Drumpf elevated to the Office of the Presidency of the United States of America.

A long way from "Ferguson," "Hands Up Don't Shoot," Eric Garner's last words--"I Can't Breathe," and on and on; til people--THE People--began to openly question, how officers of the law are getting away with killing people for no reason; other than their obvious vulnerabilities--most especially, the color of their skin. 

Now (re)entering the fray, one Jefferson Beauregard Sessions, as the Drumpf's nominee for Attorney General of the UNITED States of America.  Who openly admits his strong affinity for the police presumption that black(ened) people are 'armed and dangerous' and thereby pose an imminent threat to which no amount of force shall be viewed as "excessive."

A long way from decades of murdered and missing women; from centuries of forceable removals and treaty violations that demonstrate a national tradition of negotiating in bad faith. 

A long way from political prisoners languishing in prison, or in exile of their own making.

A long way from the story We tell ourselves--of a "freedom-loving" People enjoying "equal protection under the law."

A long way from "a more Perfect Union."
